I’m April Ingram. I’m originally from Texas, where I worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years with both large and small animals. I also completed 2 years of college at Texas A&M Commerce. In 2010, I met my husband, Brad, and later moved to his hometown of Craigsville, Virginia.

My grooming career began at PetSmart as a bather. Within 3 months, I was invited to become a groomer, and just a few months after the grooming academy, I was asked to become a salon manager. I managed the PetSmart in Waynesboro for 2 years. I learned a lot there, but I wanted to create something more personal — a place where dogs receive calm, one-on-one attention and owners feel confident leaving them in our care.

I started Country Cutz over 13 years ago, grooming out of our home's basement. In October 2016, we opened our current facility to expand our services and offer boarding as well. Many of our grooming clients asked for help during vacations and holidays, and we wanted to provide a safe, loving space specifically designed for pet care.

Country Cutz is proudly based right here in Craigsville. Our family truly loves animals, and no matter who on our team is caring for your pet, they’ll be treated with patience, kindness, and lots of attention — whether they’re here for a groom, a day, or an extended stay.
