Country Cutz Grooming and Boarding LLC : Effect May 29th, 2020 We are open for grooming.
We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19
Dear Country Cutz Grooming and Boarding, LLC community,
We will be allowing only one customer at a time in the shop. Our lobby area is only big enough to keep one person at a time. So if there is another vehicle in the parking lot please wait until instructed to come in or until that person leaves. We ask that everyone keeps their visit's short so that the next customer can pick up or drop off their pet.
We will still do curbside pick up and drop off with customers that request this service. You must call and let us know that you are requesting this service. You must have your dog out of the vehicle and on a leash or in a crate. We will not be getting dogs out of vehicles or taking them from your arms at the curbside.
I understand how everyone feels about this mask situation but as a business owner, I must abide by the state order to keep the business open and running safely. The state has said if we do not abide by the new order the labor department and/or health department can take our business license and close us down. Which we do not want to happen. We love our pups and pup families that we do business with every day. So, starting Friday, May 29th, 2020 we will always be wearing masks in the shop and for curbside pickup and drop off. We are requiring all customers entering the facility to be wearing a mask with still the restrictions of only having one person in the shop at a time. If you live in the same household, you can come in as more then one person but do not want people from many households in the shop together. If you are unable to wear a mask, then we ask to please call us, and we will do curbside pickup or drop off. With the curbside pickup and drop off you must be out of your vehicle with your dog either on a leash or in a crate. We will not be getting dogs out of the backseats of vehicles. We are doing what we need to do as a business to keep our doors open as we have tried to do all along. Please help us with this recent situation.
We please also request that if you are ill in any way to please stay at home and reschedule your appointment for another day.
• We are opening our doors again for people to come into our shop to drop off and pick up their pets for grooming and boarding. This is as long as the state of the Virginia Department of Health lets us continue this way. If things change we will need to change as well.
• We are changing our walk-in services to by appointment only at this time. You must call ahead of time and set an appointment for nail trims, brush-outs, and set appointments for pick up and drop off for boarding.
• We are still doing invoices for checking out ease but you do not have to use it if you would rather run your card in the shop.
If you’re looking for more ways to protect yourself and your loved ones, check out the CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html) website.
Thank you so much for sticking with us. We look forward to supporting each other during these challenging times.
